The YSRCP on Saturday released a list of 25 candidates to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh. It was earlier anticipated that Chief Minister and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would release the official list of candidates at Idupulapaya today.

According to a Times of India report, Jagan planned to release the candidate list for all 175 assembly segments and 25 Lok Sabha constituencies at once.
Several constituency in-charges are tense, with speculation that a few in-charges may be replaced to bring in new faces, given the BJP’s alliance with the TDP-Jana Sena.
It is to be noted that the BJP’s second list for the Lok Sabha elections includes prominent leaders from various states, including former chief ministers, union ministers, and new faces. The list includes candidates from Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, Haryana, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Tripura.
