Samsung Galaxy S24 Launch Live: The eagerly awaited Galaxy Unpacked 2024, marking the initial major smartphone launch event of the year, is slated for today, drawing considerable anticipation from Samsung enthusiasts. This event unveils the latest flagship lineup, the Galaxy S24 series, anticipated to comprise three models: the Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus, and the top-tier Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. In line with the prevailing trend of artificial intelligence (AI), Samsung will introduce Galaxy AI at the Unpacked event, presenting its take on AI features and services that will occupy a prominent position on Samsung devices going forward.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024 (What To Expect)

The focal point of the event is expected to be the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, positioned as the flagship model for 2024. Leaks and speculations provide early insights, suggesting distinctive features such as a 6.8-inch screen with a peak brightness exceeding 2,500 nits, luxurious titanium edges, and a design evolution maintaining the sophistication of its predecessor.

Speculations indicate that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra might house a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 12GB of RAM, and storage options reaching up to 1TB of UFS 4.0. The battery capacity is likely to remain at 5,000mAh, with consistent wired charging speeds of 25/45W.

Apart from the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the lineup will also comprise Samsung Galaxy S24+ and the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S24.

Of course, as per Samsung’s marketing prowess of late, ‘Galaxy AI’ will command a lion’s portion of the spotlight tonight, as the South Korean tech giant is determined to jump onto the artificial intelligence (AI) bandwagon, much like fellow giant Google, whose Pixel 8 series is loaded with handy AI features in all elements, from camera to voice recorder. 

It is expected that Samsung will introduce AI features that will star on all its devices from this point on.
