Samsung is preparing for the upcoming release of the Galaxy S24 series, and with the unveiling date drawing near, rumours and unofficial information about the smartphone are gaining traction.

Notable tipster Ahmed Qwaider recently shared details on the X platform (formerly Twitter), suggesting that the titanium frame featured in the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is anticipated to exhibit 56 per cent greater durability compared to the Armor Aluminum utilised in its predecessors, namely the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S23 Ultra.

This shift signifies a departure from the prior aluminium frame, as Samsung opts for a more robust frame in its forthcoming generation. Apple also adopted a titanium frame for the iPhone 15 Pro series, asserting enhanced strength as a result.

It’s essential to note that there is currently no confirmation regarding the inclusion of a titanium frame in the Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus. Additionally, speculations indicate that the Galaxy S24 Ultra may introduce an upgraded version of Gorilla Glass Victus 2, with expectations of incorporating Gorilla Glass Armor screen protection to bolster the smartphone’s durability beyond that of the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

According to the tipster’s information, there is a possibility of the premium variant featuring 2,600 nits peak brightness. Furthermore, the smartphone is expected to come equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, coupled with an expanded vapour chamber as an essential component of the cooling system, designed to keep the chip’s temperature 1.9 times cooler.
