Rubina Dilaik Has This To Say About Her Motherhood Journey – News18

Television actress Rubina Dilaik and her husband Abhinav Shukla became parents to twin daughters Jeeva and Eedha. The duo often shares adorable pictures with their kids on their social media handles. Being a mother is one of the most beautiful phases in any woman’s life and Rubina is no exception. Recently during an interview, the actress expressed her views on motherhood and also revealed how guilty she feels when she has to leave her kids at home due to her work commitments.

During The Unfiltered podcast, Rubina shared, “Life mein pehli baar wo (for the first time in my life that) feeling of guilt, the feeling of I am not enough, the feeling of how will they be, the feeling of stepping out for the first time, the feeling of ki main apna career kaise sambhal paungi (how am I going to manage my career along with it). I have to be there for my daughters jo abhi sirf teen mahine ki hai (I have to be there for my daughter who is just three months old).”

Rubina shared her experience stating that she had left her twin daughters at home in Mumbai for a promotional trip for the movie Chal Bhajj Chaliye.

She spoke about how difficult it is for working mothers, trying to make a balance between their personal and professional life. Rubina further stated, “Mujhe aisa lagta tha ki mera profession jo hai (Earlier I used to think that only my profession), it is demanding. But when you’re acting, you have to be on your toes for 18-20 hours, shooting and looking good and having that energy. Hats off to mothers who do it endlessly, without any complaint and are always in great spirit and enthusiasm and are always there for their kid.”

The Bigg Boss 14 winner further shared that she wants to keep her personal life and professional commitments separate so that none of them gets neglected. Rubina has been a part of several hit TV serials like Choti Bahu, Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki in which she played the role of a transgender, and another serial Punar Vivah- Ek Nayi Umeed, and Jeannie aur Juju. Apart from these, she was seen in TV reality shows like Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi.
