Climate disasters are not being predicted as accurately as desirable. But their aftermath has become all too predictable. Media coverage is always extensive with reporters on the ground, in the air and on air with the usual suspects. Climate scientists oblige with ‘I-told-you-so’ about global warming worsening climate extremes. They add for good measure that such events will occur more often with more fury and that climate actions are urgently needed.

Blame-games from other experts emphasise that governments are failing to provide resilient infrastructure and allowing development of reckless projects, and so on.
