Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, emphasising his commitment to Bihar’s development, said on Friday that his party’s manifesto is focused on tackling unemployment. If elected, he vowed to provide financial support of Rs 1 lakh per year to impoverished sisters starting from Raksha Bandhan.

Soon after launching Rashtriya Janata Dal’s manifesto, Yadav said, “One thing is clear our only goal is how to develop Bihar. Whatever we can do, we have put it in front of you with a pledge. From 15th August, the youth will start getting freedom from unemployment and if our government is formed, then from Raksha Bandhan we will give Rs 1 lakh per year to our poor sisters. The public is the master and wherever we are doing, we are getting the blessings of the public. We are fully confident that the I.N.D.I.A bloc government is going to be formed”.
