As civilisational Bharat steps into its inspirational Sansad, the mother of democracy’s new home, the legacy she epitomises shall be a guiding light for the new geopolitical order. Article 1 of the Constitution says, “India, that is Bharat, shall be a Union of States.” This idea of Bharat is not a constitutional derivative but a civilisational continuum that is accepted by the Constitution because of Bharat’s unique ancientness.
