Mumbai Power Outage: No Electricity In Southern Part Of Maharashtra Capital Due To Power Failure

Maharashtra News: Several areas of Southern Mumbai plunged into darkness due to power failure, news agency PTI reported on Thursday. There was no immediate information regarding the reason behind the power outage.

The Southern part of the city hosts several business localities and the wealthiest urban precinct including Colaba, Mahim, Nariman Point and Marine Lines.

According to officials, localities such as Mahapalika Marg, Marine Lines, and Crawford Market experienced the electricity outage due to power tripping at about 8.35 p.m., as per an India TV report. The officials further stated that efforts to restore supply are on.
