Report Says the updated E-Class will hit the market in a bigger size, with cutting-edge technology, advanced features, and improved built quality as compared to its predecessor.

After making everyone wait for so long, the Mercedes Benz finally revealed some of the important details about the upcoming sixth-generation long-wheelbase (LWB) E-Class sedan, which is internally known as V214.

It has been reported that the updated E-Class will hit the market in a bigger size, with cutting-edge technology, advanced features, and improved built quality as compared to its predecessor.

While informing about the luxury sedan, the company has confirmed that the E-Class LWB initially will go on sale in China in the upcoming months. Later, it will reach the Indian shore next year. However, both Chinese and Indian models will share the same body style and will flaunt similar design cues. Barring the steering wheel position.

The Indian model will come with a right-hand drive, while the Chinese model will feature a left-hand drive.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB Size

Talking about the size first, the upcoming LWB E-Class will feature a longer wheelbase compared to the ongoing model in India. As far as the overall dimensions are concerned, it will be 1,880mm in width, 5,092 mm in length, 1,493mm in height and will have a good 3,094 mm-long wheelbase.

The LWB E-Class in China will come with a standard version as well as an AMG line. It will feature the typical 3D three-pointed arrows on the front updated grill with illuminated surroundings. Apart from this, the vehicle will have a new style bumper, five-spoke alloys, full LED headlight setup, paired with advanced LED DRLs, new rear quarter glass, model details on the C-pillar, and whatnot.

The chauffeur-driven car will be equipped with three integrated screens setup. The first will be dedicated to the driver and will be used as a digital cluster. The second screen will be used as an infotainment unit. The third will be there to provide unlimited entertainment to the passengers while the car is on the run.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB Powerstrain

It is expected that the Indian model will continue to be powered by both petrol and diesel engine options. However, the company is yet to confirm the details.
