Kia Seltos GTX+(S), X-Line (S) Launched, Price Details Inside – News18

Kia Motors has announced two new advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) models for Seltos- GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S). The GTX+ (S) is priced at Rs 19.40 lakh and the X-Line (S) costs Rs 19.60 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).

The new models come with diesel and petrol engines options, as well as six-speed automatic and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) units.

In the broad Seltos line-up, the newly announced trims are positioned between the HTX+ and X-Line models. As per its features, these models (GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S)) come packed with a Level 2 ADAS suite that includes more than 17 safety features, 18-inch glossy black alloy wheels and electric parking brake with auto hold. Additionally, customers can also get an all-black roof lining for an extra Rs 20,000.

The typical wait time for the Kia Seltos SUV has been cut from 15-16 weeks to seven to nine weeks from the date of booking. “There is no better way to win customer’s hearts than offering them quick access to their most loved car. The average waiting period on the new Seltos line-up is about 15-16 weeks, which will be cut down to seven to nine weeks with the introduction of these new variants assuring deliveries before Diwali,” Hardeep Singh Brar, National Head Sales and Marketing, Kia India said as per Hindustan Times Auto.

While speaking about the variants, Kia India’s National Head stated that these versions have been carefully designed for tech-savvy clients who don’t want to compromise on appearance, technology, and ADAS-assisted safety systems but want speedy delivery. “It has always been our constant endeavour to offer utmost value to our new-age customers with the best of design and technology,” Brar added.

Kia received a major boost in the Indian market after clocking 50,000 bookings for the new-gen Seltos in less than two months since its launch in July.

The company has seen an overwhelming demand for top-of-the-line variations, which account for 77 per cent of total bookings.
