IND vs AFG 2nd T20 Match Highlights: Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube scored half-centuries as India beat Afghanistan by 6 wicets in the second T20I  of the three-match series against Afghanistan at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. While Jaiswal scored 68 off 34, Dube registered a second unbeaten half-century and chipped in with 63 off 32 deliveries as India went on to win the match with 26 balls to spare.

While India won the toss and elected to field first, Afghanistan managed to score 172. Axar Patel was the pick of the bowlers for Team India as he scalped wickets 2 for 17 runs on a wicket which was brilliant for stroke making. Arshdeep Singh scalped 3 wickets for 32 runs while Ravi Bishnoi also finished with 3 wickets for 39 runs as India kept the Afghans in check to a below-par total on this pitch. For the visitors, Gulbadin Naib was the top-scorer as he finished with 57 off 35.




Rohit Sharma Falls For Golden Duck In IND vs AFG 2nd T20I

In the run chase, captain Rohit Sharma departed for yet another duck, falling first ball to Fazalhaq Farooqi. However, Jaiswal and Virat Kohli took the attack to the opposition to release any kind of pressure. Once Kohli fell, Dube matched Jaiswal almost shot for shot as the duo put on 92 off 42 for the third wicket to take India on verge of a win before Jaiswal fell. However, Dube remained unbeaten till the end to see India home.

On the other hand Karim Janat turned out to be the most successful bowler for the Afghans, as he finished with figures of 2 for 13 in his 2 overs. Naveen-ul-Haq and Farooqi chipped in with a wicket each but it wasn’t enough as India clinched the series with a match to go. Axar was picked as the Player of the Match for a superb spell in conditions best for big shots.
