New Delhi: A video capturing a college student questioning police officers about the easy availability of drugs on campuses has garnered attention on social media. In the video, a student asked the senior official about the easy availability of drugs. The exchange reportedly occurred during a drug de-addiction campaign organised by the police, as per a report by Times Of India.

In the video, the student can be seen confronting a police officer on stage, questioning why drugs are readily accessible to students and inquiring about the authorities’ efforts to address the issue.

He questioned, “Sir, we have seen such a big program of drug de-addiction campaign, but the university is the biggest epicentre of drug addiction. Today, students from four universities are gathered here. Getting ‘Ganja’ or any such substance is as easy as getting toffee or lollipop.”

“If a first or second-year student can trace or track the drug dealers, then why can’t police do so? Are the police lagging behind?” he further asked.

The clip swiftly went viral with over a million views, getting a flurry of reactions from viewers across social media platforms. Reports indicate that the event took place in Sonipat, Haryana, but there is a lack of independent confirmation regarding the venue.

One user wrote, “Hats off to your courage bhai.”

Another user wrote, “Breaking news about breaking law.”

It is important to note that the viral video abruptly ends without revealing the response of the police officer who was being questioned by the college student regarding the easy availability of drugs. According to user Aniruddha Malpani who shared the video, the question was met with “Stunned silence”.
