Hours after Congress clarified its chief Mallikarjun Kharge’s “slip of tongue”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday seized upon the opportunity in Bihar’s Nawada saying “I.N.D.I.A bloc means the hideout of anti-national hateful forces”. PM Modi said that the opposition bloc is a “den of corrupt people”. The campaigning in Bihar has reached its peak as the Lok Sabha elections are underway all across the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Bihar as part of his election campaign before the voting for the first phase, slated to be held on April 19.

Modi Gives A Guarantee Because…: PM Modi Hits Out At I.N.D.I.A Bloc

Launching a scathing attack on the opposition’s I.N.D.I.A bloc, PM Modi said, “My guarantees are not liked by the I.N.D.I.A bloc. A very big leader of the opposition bloc has said that the guarantees that Modi gives you should be banned. These people say that it is illegal for Modi to give a guarantee. Are you so scared? Are you scared of Modi’s guarantee?”

“Modi gives a guarantee because he can fulfill the guarantee and has clear intentions. Modi gives a guarantee because he works hard to fulfill the guarantee,” the PM added further.

Highlighting his “from the ground” stance, Modi said he himself has suffered the adversities of poverty. Addressing a poll rally in Bihar’s Nawada, PM Modi said that he is leaving no stone unturned to change the situation of poverty in the country.

Boasting the work the saffron party has done in the last 10 years, the PM said, “The heights that the country has reached in the last 10 years are reflected in the massive public support that the NDA is receiving, and that is why today the entire country is saying – Once again, Modi Government”.

“Modi was not born to enjoy, Modi was born to work hard and that too for 140 crore countrymen… A lot has happened so far, a lot has been done but Modi’s heart says that this is just a trailer, we should not stop at this. Now we have to take the car in top gear, we are still on the runway, we have to cross new heights, there is still a lot to be done,” the PM said.

I.N.D.I.A Leaders Did Not Attend Ram Temple Consecration, Don’t Forget That: PM Modi

Further slamming the opposition bloc, PM Modi said, “There is so much venom in the mind of Congress that when some of their party members got involved in the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Mandir, they were expelled from the party for 6 years. Ram Navami is coming, brothers and sisters, do not forget these sinners”.

“The opposition bloc talks to end Sanatan Dharma. Their alliance talks about another partition of India. Congress party leaders are openly making statements that they will separate South India,” the Prime Minister said.

PM Modi Addresses Nawada With ‘Jai Chhathi Maiyya’

Extending greetings, PM, in the local language, said, “Jai Chhathi Maiyya! Apne Sabke Hum Pranaam Karai Hiyai (अपने सबके हम प्रणाम करअ हियई – I salute all of you present here).”

“I salute the land of Bihar and Magadha. This great land of Magadha has the bravery of Chandragupta Maurya, the intellectual capacity of Acharya Chanakya and it has the ability to give direction to the country. This area is also the birthplace of Bihar Kesari Krishna Babu, the first CM of Bihar. Nawada is also the workplace of Loknayak Shri Jaiprakash Narayan. I respectfully bow to all these great personalities,” he added further.

Notably, this is PM Modi’s second visit to Bihar in the past four days. Today, the Prime Minister addressed an election rally in the Nawada district of Bihar. He appealed to the people to vote in support of BJP candidate Vivek Thakur.

The Nawada Lok Sabha Constituency

The public meeting was held at the Kunti Nagar Maidan in the Nawada Lok Sabha constituency. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar along with all the allies of the NDA bloc were in attendance. The rally was similar to the one in Jamui.

It is to be noted that for the first time, both Chirag Paswan and his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras were seen together on an electoral platform. Pashupati Paras had resigned from the cabinet due to his “dissatisfaction” with the seat allocation in the NDA, but later he joined the NDA and announced full support.

As per the schedule of the program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the venue of the rally in Nawada by helicopter around 11:00 AM. During this time, he was present in Nawada for about an hour.

After this, he will depart on his way to Gaya. Before this, PM Modi had addressed an election rally in Jamui, Bihar, on April 4. In his last rally, the Prime Minister had targeted “dynasty and corruption”. Read the full report of PM Modi’s Jamui rally here

It is noteworthy that this time, the BJP has given a chance to Vivek Thakur, the son of former Union Minister CP Thakur, from this seat.

In fact, former Union Minister Giriraj Singh has also been an MP from the Nawada seat before. The last time this seat was in the account of the Lok Janshakti Party, but this time the Bhumihaar and Yadav majority was given to Vivek Thakur from this seat. Strong security arrangements were made ahead of the program.
