How To Buy Tickets For India’s Matches Against Ireland & USA In T20 World Cup 2024

Anticipation is building for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in the United States of America (USA) and the West Indies. Additional tickets for matches in New York are set to become available starting April 4 (Thursday). Among the highly anticipated fixtures are India’s matches against Ireland and the USA, scheduled for June 5 and June 12 respectively.

India, scheduled to play all their group stage matches in the USA, will kick off their campaign against Ireland on June 5, followed by a match against the hosts on June 12.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on April 2 (Tuesday) that additional limited tickets are now available for six matches at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, including the fixtures between India and Ireland on June 5, as well as USA against India on June 12. Fans can secure their spot at the World Cup by booking these tickets.

“Fans can now book their place at the World Cup, by accessing additional limited tickets for six matches at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, which includes India versus Ireland on 5 June and USA against India on 12 June,” ICC said in a release on Tuesday.

Fans can buy the tickets from the official T20 World Cup website.

“Limited tickets will also be available for all four matches at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, including the opening World Cup match featuring the USA and Canada on 1 June,” the ICC release says further.

The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, boasting a seating capacity of 34,000, is set to host eight matches, including the highly anticipated clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan on June 9. The demand for tickets to this match has been overwhelming, with requests exceeding 200 times the available seats.

The T20 World Cup 2024 is set to commence on June 1 with a match between USA and Canada. The tournament will reach its climax with the final showdown in Barbados on June 29, ensuring captivating cricket action throughout the event.
