This latest addition enables the chatbot to audibly articulate responses in five distinct voices. The feature has been promptly integrated into both the web version and mobile applications available on iOS and Android platforms.
Ideal for users on the move seeking auditory responses to queries, the read-aloud feature boasts versatility by supporting 37 languages. It intelligently detects the conversation language, ensuring seamless delivery of desired outputs. Furthermore, users can opt to have ChatGPT consistently respond verbally. Notably, this feature extends beyond premium users, encompassing GPT 3.5 users at no extra cost.

Musk Sues OpenAI
In a parallel development, tech magnate Elon Musk, former OpenAI co-founder, has initiated legal action against OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman. Musk alleges a contractual breach, contending that OpenAI’s focus on profit and commercial interests diverges from its initial commitment to public welfare, as per media reports.
The lawsuit, filed in San Francisco late Thursday, underscores a conflict between Musk and the AI startup he helped establish. Discord arose partly due to substantial investments from Microsoft, according to Reuters. Musk, who severed ties with OpenAI’s board in 2018, has vocally criticized Microsoft’s involvement with the company.
