Air India Express: Bengaluru-Mangaluru Flight Timings Altered for Efficiency, Details Inside – News18

In a strategic move, Air India Express is set to tweak the schedule of its recently launched Bengaluru-Mangaluru flight from November 30 to December 8, promising a more streamlined and punctual service.

Under the revised plan, Flight IX 782 will touch down in Mangaluru from Bengaluru at a crisp 9:40 a.m. It will then swiftly depart for Bengaluru as Flight 678, taking off at 10:10 a.m. This is a significant shift from the existing timetable, which currently sees an arrival time of 11:25 a.m. and a departure at 12:10 p.m.

Not stopping there, Flight IX 1795, covering the Kannur-Bengaluru-Mangaluru-Bengaluru-Thiruvananthapuram route, is also undergoing a time transformation. The flight will now land in Mangaluru from Bengaluru at 7:20 p.m., and, without delay, take off for Bengaluru as Flight IX 792 at 7:50 p.m. This marks a departure from the previous schedule, where the arrival was at 7:35 p.m. and departure at 8:15 p.m.

The decision to rejig the timings, particularly for flights IX 782 and IX 678, stems from Air India Express addressing sequential delays encountered due to the routing process.

The airline, which found itself detouring through Varanasi from Bengaluru before returning to the State capital en route to Mangaluru, is now committed to ensuring a more efficient and timely service, as stated by Mangaluru International Airport in a release on Wednesday.
